"Appalachia," Steph repeated, pronouncing it like Curnen did. "That's the mountains?" She tried to think of what she knew about the region but it was pretty thin. Wasn't the girl from the Hunger Games supposed to be from that area? It was poor. Coal country? Hatfields and McCoys? Or was that a different part of the south?
