Ordinarily, Kash would pass right by something like a girl leaning against a bear. Especially if that bear was Trinket. It wasn't that he didn't notice shit like that. It was that he didn't fucking care.
Ordinarily, Kash didn't give a fuck. But these people were if not his family, the closest thing he had to family without Z. And that included Snow. Which was why, when dinner had settled into quiet conversations, Kash made a point to sit in Lillith's vacated chair with his leg pressed solidly against Trinket.
"Hey, bud." He reached down and gave Trinket it a fond scratch behind the ears. "Snow feeding you enough?"
