When she unwrapped the present, she squealed in delight. "Oh Vex! These are perfect! Gardening will be so much easier now. Did you make these?" Before waiting for an answer, she pulled Vex down into a hug. "You know, I think these might be even more handy than my gauntlets." The pun was awful, but considering that Vex loved Percy...she was probably used to that kind of thing by now.
