Vex was going to go talk to Curnen after her song, but Kash got there first, and then they fled for awhile. With others she might have teased what they got up to while they were gone, but she'd seen the tension in Curnen's shoulders and the protectiveness in Kash's as they left, and the wrung out but better set when they returned later.

"I should've had Percy set up some hidey-holes around the room," Vex said quietly as came up beside Curnen. "There are enough of us here who'd appreciate them. I'm so glad you could join us tonight, darling."
