When Steph seemed wise enough not to give the Lord of Whitestone the satisfaction of a more off-kilter reaction, Vax simply raised his glass to Percy as if that had been an abrupt toast. "Joyous Winter's Crest," he chimed in as if he was supposed to, and washed it down with his first swallow of wine, leaving Percy to his sister for now.
He felt... Good. Strange, and tenderized, and a bit light-headed. But good.
