True she had spent a year almost with Zahra now, but her dear cousin had been engaged in important research and fighting much of that time. And Vassalheim was not the sort of place where luxuries such as Vex described were widely found. Besides, Lillith had little enough coin still. She did not like to borrow from Zahra and Kash, although they would never have begrudged her.
She had been working on that. But she had not yet succeeded.
